Club House Roof & Ball Games

As per the recent notices the roof area on top of the Club House has been closed until further notice due safety issues.

There were several instances of residents almost being hit by balls falling from the roof top and a few weeks ago unfortunately one resident was knocked unconscious by a falling ball.

There have been suggestions create a cage on the roof so that ball games can be played however with limited funds this will have to prioritised appropriately.

In addition to this I would like to remind residents that ball games must not be played in the car park or adjacent to the swimming pool area to prevent injury to persons or damage to cars/common areas occurring.

  1. You have spoken ! Therefore, please enforce the rules. I still see ball games being played at pool area either by kicking the ball to each other or kicking the ball against the changing room wall near the minimart. We do not want any injury to person or damage to property.

What about skateboard? Aside being noisy (esp at night), has there been any damage on our flooring?
What about cycling? Children are cycling around the pool area. We do not want anyone being knock down by these cyclist.

Thank you for keeping us informed !

  2. Roof top is suitable for a proper court, like tennis or basketball, but need proper set-up (cage + spotlight). Otherwise, can be turned to a cool garden, plant more trees, grass, flowers, water fountain etc to avoid any ball game... Both sound expensive, hehe...
