Pool Area Furniture

For far too long the lack of pool furniture has been both an embracement and frustrating for the many residents who use the pool area.

We are please to announce that a number of sun loungers, side tables, umbrellas and table sets have been now ordered. In addition we are currently sourcing for a contractor to build some concrete benches around the side of the pool similar to the picture below.

Pleaser note that the photos are for illustrative purposed only and the colours and final finish are slightly different.

At night once the pool closes the security guards will securure the furniture to help prevent misuse.

Swimming Pool Signs

We have recently procured doubled sided lollypop signs to place round the pool when when maintenance is is taking place as well and to close off the pool outside of opening hours.

The date of full implementetion is still TBC alough it should be soon.

These signs will be connected by a chain and it is hoped that they offer a clear visual deterrent not to enter the water.

Pool Water Slide

A small piece of news that we missed  reporting.

The children's waterslide used to only be activated during the evening hours when the pool was most busy to save wear and tear.

We are pleased to announce that an 'on demand' switch has been installed which runs the pump for approx. 10 minutes.

Pool Update

Please be advised that the repairs to the pool filtration system have been delayed due to the pool contractor encountering a delay in the delivery of the filter silica sand. This is due to a shortage in the market and a knock on effect of a recent lorry strike.

We will be following up with the contractor to see what (if any) options are available to expedite the repair.

Pool & BBQ areas

The in-house maintenance team have recently repaired the BBQ’s and re-varnished the benches. The BBQ grilles are kept by the management office to try and prevent unauthorised use and will be given to people who have a valid booking.

The area surrounding the pool is in need of some attention and quotations for replacing the wooden decking with wood or stone are currently being requested.

Most of the pool sunbeds and tables provided by the developer are either broken, missing or in a poor state of repair and quotations are currently being requested from several suppliers.

Now that we have employed the services of a landscaping company the gardens are looking more tidy however if you see something wrong then please contact management office so that it can be rectified asap.

There are many possibilities and ideas to improve the pool area however until the remaining accounts and monies from the previous management company are transferred to us by the developer the tight budgets make things difficult for everybody.

Swimming Pool Float Valve Repair

Maintaining Villa Wangsamas is an endless and expensive task with things behind the scenes often needing prompt repairs to prevent expensive catastrophic failures.

A good example of this is the swimming pool float valve which has been been found to be faulty and will cost RM2.5k-3k to repair and approved by the JMC.

The impact of this is that it is causing water wastage and putting extra pressure on the pumps which will lead to very expensive repairs if it’s not fixed very soon.

With critical items needing to be repaired it’s imperative that all owners ensure that their maintenance bills are settled on time.
