Surau Expansion Update
We are pleased to share that the surau expansion works have commenced. The plan involves the joining of the adjacent meeting room by knocking down the wall partition and the relocation of the gym entrance door so that its opposite the café. It addition to the space in meeting room addition space is gained to using the space in the former corridor.
The works are expected to take another 1-2 weeks and whilst these are in progress a temporary surau has been created in the café.
The former library site is being converted into a meeting for the JMC and the Management Office

Surau Upgrade Tender
English:
On behalf of JMC and committee members of Surau Al-Ukhuwah community there is an announcement, our musollah will soon be expanded by taking over the adjoining meeting room as discussed and agreed at the last AGM.
Therefore on 15th March 2014 Saturday at 9am at the Clubhouse there will be a briefing session to the contractors who wish to participate in the tender excercise.
If there are residents of VWMS who are contractors then you are welcome / invited to enter.

Disini saya wakil jemaah surau Al-Ukhwah dan AJK komuniti ada sedikit makluman, Surau kita tidak lama lagi akan dibaik pulih dengan penambahan ruang seperti apa yang di bincangkan sewaktu AGM yang lalu. Dimana pada 15hb Mac 2014 hari Sabtu pada jam 9 pagi bertempat di Clubhouse akan diadakan sesi penerangan/panggilan Tender kepada kontraktor-kontraktor yang ingin memasuki sebut harga.
Oleh itu saya disini ingin menyampaikan jika ada diantara kalian/penghuni VWMS ini adalah kontraktor anda dialukan/di jemput utk memasuki sebut harga bagi kerja penambahan surau kita.Penyerahan BQ dan pelan akan diadakan pada waktu tersebut. Harap Maklum.. Jazakallah Khairan

Surau Upgrade Proposal
One of the key facilities that should have been provided by the developer was a Surau for our large and active Muslim community.
For the past few years the JMC have provided a temporary solution by allowing use of one the small meeting rooms next to the gym. Unfortunately this is now far too small and offers no segregation for females.
Our Surau committee recently submitted a petition for a larger space to be allocated and this is supported by the JMC.
It is proposed that the wall between the Surau and the meeting room be demolished to provide a much larger space. In addition to this the current GYM door will be relocated opposite the cafeteria.
The library on the 1st floor of the clubhouse has been closed for several years owing to constant misuse and with the closure of the current meeting room this will be converted to a meeting room/office.

This proposal will be formally submitted to the JMB at the next AGM for all members to vote on.
