Intercom System Update

Further the previous post in October the new security company will shortly be testing the intercom system for each unit. Please ensure that any known issues with your intercom are reported the management office without delay.

We have also received reports that some residents have removed the intercom from their units so any replacement will be at the owners cost.

We are keen to tackle the management of visitors and the intercom will be a key part of that process so any faulty/missing units will delay entry of your visitors.

We will provide an update asap regarding the SOP for visitors so that everybody is aware of the process that should be followed.

  1. ASAP mean will take how long? perhaps the management should work out a tentative timeline..so that we know what are the next call for action.

  3. While we are at the topic of security, noted the new security guards are not strictly enforcing registration of visitors to the condominium. There were occassions they opened the barrier even before I flashed my access card at the reader. Entry/exit rules should be strictly enforced without exception even while waiting for the new SOP. I believe there are no more issues of insufficient access cards as was the case previously?

  4. Well like I said, I did not asked for exact date. I just need to know your tentative timeline so that I know when intercom system is ready. Every project or things that you want to do or plan...definitely you have a deadline or targeted date you want to achieve, right?

So your ASAP mean nothing because there is no targeted deadline :) It can be another 3,6,12 months or forever never be complete this updating system.

  5. Intercom is ready however some more testing has been requested by security. The SOP etc will be finalised once the guards get the basics right at the guardhouse.

There should be a JMC meeting or gathering at the weekend so it will be raised there for an update.
