Lift Vandalism

The lift CCTV system has been installed and all blocks are now operational although a lot of configuration and adjustments are taking place to help reduce the amount of electrical interference affecting the cameras.

Over the past few days several instances of vandalism to the lift car buttons has occurred. Finally we are able to view the footage to identify the mindless idiots who are vandalising our property.

The management office and JMC have extracted the video footage and the incident and security are currently looking for the perpetrators. Once found these people will be billed for the cost of the repairs.

  1. The no.1 , seem like he is challenging the CCTV :)
So what is the stern action against them?
btw, the video quality is bad.

    1. Once caught they will need to pay for the damage.

The post already mentions that the system is still being commissioned etc so thank you for pointing out the obvious picture quality issues.

  2. Perhaps a 'Wanted Person' bulletin in the lift & parking at each level indicating the level where the suspect is staying. Residents could be on lookout & act as extra pair of eyes for JMC.

    1. The cameras were changed to a model with a shorter focal length so that the whole lift car can be viewed. The footage posted on the blog was from the old cameras.
