Checking Our Water Supply

During the water cuts that have taken place over the past 2 weeks the JMC have been updating residents during the water supply interruption.

Today a JMC member accompanied the Building Manager and maintenance team whilst they were checking that the water supply had resumed in all blocks.

The pump room with the suction tanks on the left and straight ahead. Water enters here from the main Syabas pipe and is then pumped up to the roof top tanks from the suction tank.

Tower F - Lift #3 shutdown

Please be advised that lift #3 at Tower F has been shutdown due to water ingress into the lift shaft.

The Management Office and their contractors are working to rectify the situation and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Debtors Update - Feb 14

We are pleased to highlight following a lot of enforcement work over the past 1-2 months the debt level is decreasing and is now at the lowest level ever. 

Over the past few weeks more enforcement work has taken place and we are hoping to see a further reduction next month as well.

All residents are reminded to check their statements and report any payments that may have been missed to the management office without delay.

Currently there are several major disputes owing to sub sale issues whereby an outstanding amount wasn’t settled during the sale process and they have now found that they are liable for any sums owed.

Any sums owed are attached to the unit and not an individual so it will not be possible for the JMB to either write it off or commence recovery proceedings from a previous owner.

Surau Upgrade Tender

On behalf of JMC and committee members of Surau Al-Ukhuwah community there is an announcement, our musollah will soon be expanded by taking over the adjoining meeting room as  discussed and agreed at the last AGM.

Therefore on 15th March 2014 Saturday at 9am at the Clubhouse there will be a briefing session to the contractors who wish to participate in the tender excercise.

If there are residents of VWMS who are contractors then you are welcome / invited to enter.

Disini saya wakil jemaah surau Al-Ukhwah dan AJK komuniti ada sedikit makluman, Surau kita tidak lama lagi akan dibaik pulih dengan penambahan ruang seperti apa yang di bincangkan sewaktu AGM yang lalu. Dimana pada 15hb Mac 2014 hari Sabtu pada jam 9 pagi bertempat di Clubhouse akan diadakan sesi penerangan/panggilan Tender kepada kontraktor-kontraktor yang ingin memasuki sebut harga.

Oleh itu saya disini ingin menyampaikan jika ada diantara kalian/penghuni VWMS ini adalah kontraktor anda dialukan/di jemput utk memasuki sebut harga bagi kerja penambahan surau kita.Penyerahan BQ dan pelan akan diadakan pada waktu tersebut. Harap Maklum.. Jazakallah Khairan

Water Update 13/3/14 17:00

Please find below the latest report from the management office on the water situation as at 5.00 pm today:

Suction Storage Tank
• Block A - 1/4 level
• Block B - 1/4 level
• Block C - 1/4 level
• Block D - 1/4 level
• Block E - 1/4 level
• Block E - 1/4 level
• Block F - 1/4 level
• Block G - 1/4 level
• Block H - 1/4 level
• Block J - 1/4 level

 Roof Water Storage Tank
• Block A - 1/2 level
• Block B - 1/2 level
• Block C - 1/2 level
• Block D - 1/2 level
• Block E - 1/4 level
• Block F - 1/2 level
• Block G - 1/4 level
• Block H - 1/2 level
• Block J - 1/2 level

Blocks E & Block G water level is noted to be low at a quarter level height. We already arranged our technician to manual pump water up on the remaining water left in the suction tank.

Hopefully, the stored water can last until Syabas water supply returns tomorrow for Blocks E & G and all residents are advised to minimise their water consumption.
