New Security Company Appointed

After reviewing their performance, the decision was made to remove East West Security Services. A new company (Asiaforce Security) will take over effective Tuesday 15th May 2012.

While we acknowledge that there will be some teething problems during the transition period, we request for your patience. We also ask for residents to continue giving feedback as this is valuable in monitoring the performance of the security company.

Please contact the management office should you have any concerns.

  3. Thanks for the reply.
Noted and may I know what about the CCTV monitoring especially in the lift? Is it still fall under their plan as well?

Just would like to share with you that, currently in the guard house there are no CCTV monitors screen to monitoring from Lobby up to Level 6. Previously there are monitors and the guards can monitor it. Is the monitors going to install back at the guard house?

I know in the management office, there are CCTV monitors, but its only can monitor during office hours and at night the office is closed. I hope this can be improved and to have a proper monitoring system :)

hope to hear from you soon.

    1. We would like to have a more comprehensive system and some quotes have been sourced in preparation for tabling a motion at the AGM. So far it looks like it will cost a considerable amount of money.

With regards to the monitors in the guard house I have asked the management office to look into what happened,

    2. Follow-up:
May I know what did the management say regarding the monitors in the guard house? Previously there are monitors for the guards to view. Right now there are no longer there anymore. What happen?

    3. I believe that they were faulty and the previous building managers seemed unable to provide a solution. The management office are currently getting quotes together to address the faults with the system.

  4. I would like to complaint that poor security currently happen that each block doesn't have security standby in the each of the block lobby place. Visitor coming but without registration to touch card use the lift and simply get outsider go up n down in the block.

At the same moment, my resident parking bay P5 no 32 too convenience until there are million times visitors come in and park. I can understand that they put the visitor card but unfortunately ask back the security find out which houseno register, the security failed to find out....I'm very disappointed with this. I'm owner resident in villawangsamas which clear the maintainance every month, but I have get back this bad service....

    1. We have terminated the current company due to poor performance especially in managing visitors. For the record there is not supposed to be guards stationed at the lobby area all the time.

With regards to the parking issues please contact the security guards should you find a car in the space and they will arrange for it to be clamped.

  5. 1. Intercom has been broken for broken for several months and the management office are taking an unacceptably long time to fix it

    2. All owners were issued access cards then they purchased their units.

    3. This will likely need a major system upgrade. What is likely to be implemented is a restriction by block.

    1. Ok understand now...

      2. Yes would like to install a pedestrian gate or turnstile however the management office are very slow at getting such quotes together

      3. Its unlikely that we will restrict persons to a particular floor however by block was approved by the JMC last June but the management office have not been able to implement it.

    2. Dear VW JMC,

The restriction by block is good but hope it can be access for few blocks too. Example, My family and I owned 4 units from 4 different blocks. Example: My block is A and I want to visit my parents unit in block B, so my access card of block A should be able to access block B too. Thank you for understanding.

    5. Management is very slow and taking too long time to solve the security problems. As an owners we need a good system at the gate

  7. Here are some suggestions to improve the security system:

    1) Redesign the Entrance - The entrance should be redesigned to better suit both the residents and visitors. Indicate the car lane in big clear sign so everyone will not be confuse. Kindly refer to the images (suggestion.1a) attached to get a better idea.

Walk Path - As explained through the different angle of the images (please refer to image suggestion.1b - suggestion.1f), I am suggesting the walk path to be one way in and one way out, with a security gate (access card require) install on the path. This way, the security personel/officer would have a better control of the visitor entering the premise.

Same concept applied to the less secure walk path at second exit of Phase 2. Either eliminate it and focus on the entrance/exit at the main guard house only or install another security gate (please refer to image suggestion.1g).

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v122/pinnepal/suggestion1G.jpg

    2) Visitor - Resident should pick up their guest (visitor) at the guard house (security officer will inform the resident through intercom). This practice is better as the resident could assist the security officer on the confirmation of guest and in the registering process.

    3) Lift Access - Broken access card and scanner needed to be fix immediately. Management should urge the resident with high number of family members to apply for more access card. This way, the management can also monitor the quantity of the access card.
Lift access should be denial to all delivery service staff eg. pizza delivery , postmen, unless they are accompany by the security officer or they registered themselves to the security officer.

    Thank you.
