MO has been informed that an article in Sinar Harian dated 4th March 2017 on the operation by Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri to uncover the illegal activities in front of Villa Wangsamas. Please see below:-



KUALA LUMPUR - Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Koperasi dan Kepenggunaan (KPDNKK) membongkar helah kegiatan penyimpanan tong gas petroleum cecair (LPG) di kawasan kediaman.
Operasi yang dinamakan Ops Gasak ini dibuat jam 11.10 pagi, semalam, di Jalan Seri Wangsa 1, dekat sini membongkarkan kegiatan haram itu.
Ketua Pegawai Penguatkuasa Kuala Lumpur, Wan Mohd Yusof W Taib berkata, operasi dijalankan hasil maklumat dan risikan yang dijalankan hampir dua minggu terhadap kegiatan terbabit.
Menurutnya, pemeriksaan dapati kegiatan itu dilakukan tanpa lesen sah.
“Pemeriksaan dapati terdapat 294 tong gas LPG dengan saiz berbeza iaitu bersaiz 14 kilogram (KG) dan 12 KG dianggar bernilai RM9,000 yang disimpan tanpa lesen sah di dalam tiga buah lori yang diparkir di hadapan sebuah kondominium di situ.
“Kita percaya kegiatan itu disyaki telah dijalankan sejak enam bulan lalu,” katanya.
Beliau berkata, siasatan lanjut akan dijalankan bagi mengenalpasti pihak yang bertanggungjawab terhadap aktiviti yang mengancam keselamatan penduduk di sini.
Katanya, kes disiasat dibawah Akta Kawalan Bekalan 1961 dan jika disabitkan dengan kesalahan boleh didenda maksima RM1 juta atau tiga tahun penjara atau kedua-duanya sekali bagi individu manakala syarikat denda maksima RM2 juta mengikut akta yang sama.
“Kita akan jalankan operasi dari semasa ke semasa kerana kegiatan ini boleh membahayakan keselamatan penduduk sekitar,” katanya.

Some residents may disagree with certain House Rules, but it should be appreciated that the House Rules are formulated for the common good. However, to meet the changes in the owner’s requirements, the House Rules can be revised as necessary at any Annual General Meeting, if such changes have a majority support and provided they meet the requirements of the StrataTitles Act.
